The Clifton Natural Wash Range
The popular Clifton suite offers both the comfort of traditionally upholstered furniture with the unique and natural appearance of rattan weave.
What makes the Clifton stand out is the luxurious addition of fully upholstered armrests, for added relaxation when reading a book or hosting guests. Even better, they’re completely removable, allowing for easy cleaning.
Athena Check Fabric – Dacron Wrapped
Our lovely check fabric made from 83% Polyester, 17% Viscose, Athena Check has hints of blue and yellow in a textured check pattern. Cushions are removable, please dry clean only. Our hi spec foam cushions are designed to provide luxurious comfort, with the addition of Dacron Wrap, a high quality material used to prevent loose, worn areas forming on cushions and reduces the wear on the fabric by reducing friction.

Sustainable Farming
Rattan is ecologically important, growing up to 6 metres a year in areas that cannot support other land products, making it one of the most sustainable materials in furniture manufacturing, compared to hard wood alternatives which can take up to 30 years to grow. Rattan farming provides sustainable income to some of the poorest people living on the fringes of the forests, helping to generate employment and build communities in these farming areas.
Our quality rattan is sourced in Indonesia and we work closely with factories and growers to protect Indonesia's stunning natural landscape. Our frames are then assembled and checked in our manufacturing facility in the UK, providing quality care and service.

The team, spanning generations, including designers, creators, and office staff, has been integral to the company's century-long success. With a heritage dating back four generations, the journey began with Isaac Desser during WWI, inspired by Flemish craftsmen.
